Ocean Highlands Hideaway

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and stay at Ocean Highlands. The house was great for four adults and one teenager. Sarah was very helpful and bought a grill over right away. Customer service was amazing. We had everything to accommodate us and our family get together.

We stayed in this house in early September, the house was perfect, beds were comfy, the place was clean, the party area (kitchen, living room, dining room was perfect for our group, it also comes with a super large pantry, and a little back patio that we spent a lot of time on, our host Sarah was incredible, we had an issue with the grill so within 1 hour she bought and brought a new one, that blew us away, we really have zero complaints, if I come back to Netarts, I will check availability on this home before I do anything elseThanks SarahThe Urwins

Five stars! Beautiful new house centrally located to the beautiful beaches and minutes from Tillamook and the creamery. We walked the quarter mile to the bay for the bird watching or clamming everyday and we’re just a few minutes drive (or bike ride) away from some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. After all the adventure we came back to comfy beds and home cooked meals! Thank you.

My work crew and myself needed a place to stay in Netarts while we working on a house and the Ocean Highlands house had literally everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, home was very clean, well appointed and the location was perfect. The materials for the job we working on didn't come on time, and we had to call Monica hoping we could could change the dates of our stay. She was not only accommodating, she was understanding and we were able to reschedule for a couple of weeks later. It ended up snowing during the time we were there and we needed to extend our stay another night. Not only was Monica helpful, she allowed for a later check out so we could leave after the ice started melting. We are hoping to use Shore Thing Rentals again during the course of work on this house over the next four months, and, as it's a relative's house we are working on, when we come to visit. Monica, you made this stay great and easy to see where we'd like to book with in the future. Thank you for all you do!

Oh my gosh, first of all, Monica saved our end of summer mini-vacay, 100%! We had booked somewhere else and then gotten ghosted. I reached out to Shore Thing and Monica went above & beyond to hold us a spot, pending the termination of our original ghosting agency.
Once the original lodging was fully canceled, Monica set us up with a BEAUTIFUL home in Netarts.
Everything was/appeared to be brand new, impeccably clean, classy, fully stocked,and ready for our family of 4, (2 adults and 2 older teens).
The home was just off of the highway but we couldn't hear a peep from inside. The fireplace was warm, the beds were super comfy, and kitchen was perfect for our meal preps while visiting at the same time. My hubby loved the HUGE double sink area in the master bath. It allowed us to both get ready for the day at the same time.
The only drawbacks to this property were the lack of ocean view and the small size of the back patio. The proximity of the property to the nearest town and beach, made up for it all, AND it's backed up to the woods, which we loved. It gave us that remote, fresh, wild, clean, Oregon feel that we longed for, (since my husband and I are both removed Oregon natives).
Absolutely 5 star experience, all of the way. The hosts were available as needed, but, we didn't end up needing a thing. These ladies had all bases covered before we arrived!
Monica, we still claim to owe you a margarita, but will save that for our next stay! We can't thank you enough! Sorry for the delayed review!

Perfect 2 days away from the hot Portland temps.

Checking in was easy and simple. House was clean and had all the necessities. Great place to come with family and friends.

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. The home was had everything we needed, was super clean and comfortable, and the vacation rental company was really responsive and easy to communicate with.

This home was perfect for our end of summer getaway. Monica and Sarah were exceptional host...easy to reach and quick to respond. The home is new, clean and well cared for. Would definitely stay here again.

We rented this house on short notice as our house is being remodeled and was not suitable for receiving house guests. the house is spacious and we had more than enough room to spread out with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hairdryer was missing, but the property manager, who was very responsive, brought one over within 1/2 hour. Everything was very clean and looked new. There is a small patio out back. The only thing missing is a view of the ocean, but it is not far and we enjoyed hiking in the area.

We had a lovely time! Sarah was communicative and easy to coordinate with. There were many recommendations of things to do near by, which was lovely. The home is walking distance from Netarts Bay, east to get to the Tillamook creamery, and other local attractions like Capes.

This home exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay ! The house was clean and very well equipped as far as any amenities you might want or need. The service was super friendly and quick as well , which was greatly appreciated . Would highly recommend.
