I rent vacations homes in Netarts at least once a year and decided to try out this house because of its location and it did not disappoint. It was very well maintained and supplied with everything we needed. The hot tub was clean, we could walk to both restaurants, and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I could suggest is making some directions on how to turn on the TV, lol. It looked so much like a hanging picture that it took us a few minutes to figure it out. Idea for 2-4 people but could easily accompany six. I'm sure we'll be renting it again in the future.

This vacation rental is a gem! The views are amazing from the main living space and bedrooms. Our party of 5 had plenty of room to spread out (3 bedrooms downstairs and one master upstairs). The kitchen is well equipped and laid out for cooking meals. There is a cafe within walking distance, down the hill, for those that prefer not to cook. The light and modern finishes in this home make it a clean and inviting space to relax. It should also be noted that the rental manager, Sarah, went above and beyond in regards to letting us know when the house would be ready for check in (2 hours early) and she was able to accommodate a late check out on Sunday which made for a much more relaxing departure (normal check out is at 10:00). We will be back again next year!

This house was immaculate, clean, and jaw dropping! We had a marvelous time staying here for our wedding and taking in the views. We watched storms, stars, and bald eagles from the kitchen. We actually extended our stay an extra day because we didn't want to leave. Can't wait to come back!

The house was exactly what we were looking for for our girls weekend! Communication with management was five-star, they provided easy-to-follow directions and instructions and were prompt to answer questions before and during our stay. They notified us that an early check-in was available and when I inquired about a late checkout, they were more than accommodating. The welcome binder was very helpful and had all the details/instructions we could have asked for. The views were gorgeous; we all stood and stared upon walking into the home. Bedrooms and bathrooms were cozy and comfortable with ample towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. The kitchen was a dream; we cooked all our meals at the home and had all we needed and then some (spices, oils, pots, pans, bakeware, etc.). We felt safe the entire trip in this beautiful home. We had just three small issues (a few ants on the kitchen countertops, heat that did not kick on in one of the bedrooms (it wasn't needed anyway) and no tissues that we could find (we purchased some at a local store). We notified management of these items and they thanked us for letting them know and said they would be addressed. I would return in a heartbeat and will recommend the home to anyone looking for a lovely stay on the coast. Thank you so much!

We may never enjoy another vacation: this home may have ruined us for every other vacation rental. Every amenity was provided for (not one, but three corkscrews; cupboard full of spices; wedge pillow just in case you need it; extra monitor just in case you want it; drip, press, and k-cup coffee; the list goes on and on). Automatic skylights. Heated bathroom floors. Built in speakers. Spotless. Super modern but super comfy. And the views! We never got bored just watching the ocean. Different every day. We enjoyed every single minute. You will not be disappointed.

This is a spacious modern high end finished vacation house. Waterfall kitchen counter, Thermador appliances, plank flooring, heated bathroom floors, seamless trim work, etc. Wonderful bedding and beds. This is a super comfortable, relaxing and, quite literally, exquisite environment. And wait, have I mentioned the view yet?

We had a wonderful time her with our family.

Upon landing in Portland received a message that the property was ready early if we wanted to check in early. Sadly, our flight was delayed so couldn’t get there early. This property will not disappoint!

Fortunately, we were able to hold the 3rd time and what a treat it was. This may be the nicest place in Oceanside--I honestly can't imagine anything better. The house is superior. It truly is. Luxury. Clean. Well equipped. And, as is important today, the WIFI is shockingly fast for a remote location... which is critical as Cellular coverage is poor in Oceanside. We have already decided this will be a regular return for us. By the way... while it is huge, we stayed here with only 2 people. It was perfect! Only one suggestion: Bring some eyeshades if you want to sleep in as there are no shades on the view windows in the Master Bedroom.

We have been renting houses for our annual family beach trip for approximately 30 years. By far this was the best. It exceeded our exceptions. Everything top of the line. The view in the picture says it all. Very clean and well maintained. If I owned a house like this, I would be afraid to rent it out LOL. But glad you do!

Wow. I don’t think there are words for how amazing our stay was. From the personalized customer service/communication all the way to the chocolate truffles and flowers placed on the counter top for us when we arrived. This house is drop dead gorgeous and shore thing rental adds even more of a special light to it. I have never experienced this type of service from Airbnb or Vacasa - I will 1000% rent from shore thing rentals moving forward in Oceanside! Truly the best experience my family has ever had on the coast (and we go there regularly). Thank you, all of you!

If I could give this house 10 stars I would. Everything about it was perfect. The view is amazing and so was the house. They had everything you could ever need there and the management was fantastic too. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

We have a wonderful time at this property. Host was attentive when needed. Home was beautiful and the view was honestly spectacular. It is on a steep hill with one way road and there is no entrance to the home from the lower parking area but just a short walk down the street to get to upper level. Just plan groceries and luggage. We loved this home and highly recommend.

The home did not disappoint! The view was stunning and the kitchen was a gourmet cook's dream. We were all very comfortable and the main living area was so spacious. It was an easy drive into Tillamook for groceries and walks on the beach were a daily occurrence.

The Stormwatcher is one of the best places that we will probably ever get the chance to travel to. Excellent views, beautifully designed and decorated. Excellent project managers with great response time. We have stayed at the Stormwatcher parts of the last two Junes and are already planning a trip for next summer. Love this place!

We've stayed at dozens of rental homes up and down the Oregon coast. This is far and away the nicest. So much space. Every amenity one could need. Super strong WiFi, absurdly great view, perfect acoustics, comfy furnishings, decked-out 's all there. I doubt I could find a nicer house anywhere.

A well appointed newer home located in a quiet neighborhood with miles of ocean views

We had a small group celebrating 2 birthday's and we loved the house and the amenities. Clean, gorgeous and the view was amazing.

The house is phenomenal. The interior is very nice and the view is off the charts! The neighborhood in Oceanside is quaint. Easy walk to the beach and the couple restaurants in town. The only negative (and it is minor) is the lack of adequate size trash cans outside the house. The previous renters filled the entire 3-4 trash bins outside, leaving us with nowhere to put our trash. The trash have been taken with the house cleaners prior to our arrival. Otherwise the stay was magnificent.

Incredible home, Incredible location! Everything about our stay at this home was amazing. We loved our stay at the Stormwatcher. Pictures of a property have a tendency to paint a better picture of what you are going to get than you usually do. In this case while the photos of the home are pretty spectacular, they can’t describe the feeling you get the moment you walk through the entry doors and are immediately greeted by beautiful panoramic view. The home is perfect. It could have let the views carry the day and scrimped on the details but that was not the case. Each room was beautiful and thoughtfully designed with high quality materials and outfitted with high quality products. The only hesitation I have in giving this property an outstanding review is getting the word out. I’d love for it to be our very own hidden gem but it wouldn’t be fair of us to do so. My family had what felt like a once in a lifetime trip to this property and I won’t even get started about the location. Thanks so much to the property owners and management.

Enjoyed our 3 days and made lots of new memories. Weather was great and the sunsets were amazing. Loved all the space we had (minus all the stairs) and the beautiful view.

Great spring getaway with kids and grandkids. Kids love the beach and agate hunting and other "beach things." Very nice house with easy beach access and a nice ocean view.

I visited "Family Tides" with a large group of friends. The house accommodated us well! It is well equipped with various kitchen items and the beds were comfortable. The property manager is a great communicator too. I will stay there again!

We rented 2 places, with Family Tides, being one of them for our family of 19 "girls." Our younger generation stayed here since there are more stairs, but everything was Fantstic, with a great view. We would highly recommend the place.

This home is perfect for our family. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, gorgeous view of the ocean and as an added perk-- a wonderful hot tub on the back deck. Love the large open family room/kitchen/dining area. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and even an office area where my son in law could keep up with a couple of days work. We have stayed here twice before and always enjoy it. We felt so pampered being greeted with a vase of fresh flowers and some chocolates!

Great location and layout of home. Stunning views. Lots of towels and cooking utensils. Spent lots of time on the deck and had fun with the Richard Simmons puzzle. Wpuld be nice if they replaced some of the furniture especially the dining chairs.Beds were incredibly comfortable.

The Family Tides is a great place to relax, rest and enjoy all of the beauty of the sand, sun and water. Shore Thing Vacation Rentals makes everything so easy and the staff are delightful to work with. We have been coming here for years and always eagerly anticipate our annual retreat!
