This home is just as pictured. The location is fantastic and the view spectacular. The checkin process was easy and the home had all the amenities we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Will definitely return.

We loved our stay at the Saltair Cottage. The views from the incredibly clean windows are spectacular and we enjoyed watching the crabbers weigh into the bay every evening to fish. The house is well apportioned and beautifully decorated. Sarah was very helpful and we received emails with suggestions for activities to do in the area. We can’t wait for our next stay!

My husband and I have visited the Saltair cottage several times over the last few years. It is always very clean and has a kitchen stocked with pots/pans/dishes, even a crock-pot so you can easily stay in to eat. The location can't be beat with the sound of the ocean and the constantly changing tides. Beautiful. My husband had been hoping to be there for a winter storm and we hit it just right this time - two atmospheric rivers in one week!! Wild and crazy. We love the Saltair and have recommended it to many friends.

It was very nice and a quiet time of year. Shore Thing was great and very professional. The crabbing was close and we had fun for our first time!

This was our first time to Oregon. This home was better than expected. The photos really don't do it justice. The beach was very private. We enjoyed our early morning walks on the sand and taking in the beautiful coast waters. It was sunny for most of the days we were there. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The home was very well stocked with everything. We really liked being able to open up the bedroom windows to let the cool air in at night and hear the ocean waves. It would have been nice to have been able to open the windows in the living room but the window on the patio door does open so that was a plus. The floors were clean and the bed linens smelled crisp. Both beds were very comfortable. We stayed with 2 teens and found it was plenty of room for us. We drove up and down the Oregon Coast and had a lovely time. We enjoyed Cannon Beach, Depoe Bay, Tillamook, Willamette Valley, Salem, Portland and of course Netarts. This was definitely one of our most enjoyable trips. Hope to go back to Oregon again and would stay at this same location again. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Hope to be back again to see what else Oregon has to offer.

Perfect location on the beach. Quiet but close to food and drink. Did not want to leave.

We love staying here, and the owners keep improving the experience! The support service is without equal, a human who's there in minutes to fix anything awry. We never tire of watching the beach world go by, always some new ways people enjoy the beach, or new birds or new ocean/sand behavior. A very few short steps to the sand, best for the sure of foot, but the road walk access is also short. Plenty of good food minutes away, but for the smaller places, hours can change, and every place is not open every day all day long.

Pictures do not do this cute cottage justice. Location couldn't get any better, the beach views are endless. Cottage was extremely clean and super comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Have stayed here many times and it remains one our favorites. Able to sleep with the windows open and hear the Pacific roaring outside your window. The firepit has been a great addition!

We had a wonderful time at this adorable small home. Perfect for a couple or a family. Just enough space, gorgeous views (from living area and bedroom), laundry right there. It was really nice!

We were delighted with our return to Saltair cottage. Especially pleased with the notification that it was available a few hours early, we checked in and walked up the shore to Oceanside. The cottage is sparkling clean,thoughtfully decorated, across the bay from a herd of seals and an eagle who sits on the shore. Next time we hope to try our hand at digging clams and crabbing. Perfect for a coastal getaway!

This property is exactly as listed. It sits right on the bay in Netarts. Also a very short walk over to the actual beach. The bay allows for lots of exploring in the water without fear of the currents and waves for our kids. The house itself was perfect for a family of four with slightly older children. Incredibly clean and well stocked with unbelievable views. We typically don’t go back to vacation homes more than once, but we will definitely be back to this one! Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway. You can walk the beach for hours, or just enjoy sitting by the fire and watching storms come through. Exactly what we were looking for! Cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. Wasn’t ready to leave!

Saltair is a cozy cottage that is in very good condition and nicely furnished. It was a perfect size for us as a couple, but might be a little tight for 4 adults. We loved the location at the mouth of Netarts Bay, you get all the drama of being on the ocean without the pounding surf, and the changing landscape with the tide is always interesting.

Saltair resides abeam the confluence of Netarts Bay and the Pacific on the easterly shore of the bay, the northern sandbar tip of Cape Lookout only several hundred yards to the west of Saltair across the bay. The relentless surf provides a soothing, melodic, natural symphony accompanying the daily ebb of high and low tides. Adding to this ageless natural cycle is the scudding of fall's rain squalls, all observed from the comfort of the Saltair living room with a wood burning fireplace, a great novel, and a cup of hot tea. The adjacent area surrounding Netarts has fresh offerings of Pacific Northwest seafoods. Dining out or bringing your catch back to the Saltair to prepare is possible. Recharged, relaxed and inspired.

Love the view out to the ocean. The stress of the world melts away. Watching the people and wildlife is so relaxing. Being able to just go out for an easy beach walk is wonderful.
The cabin is spotless and well appointed.

This is my third time to Saltair. Everything you will need is provided. The kitchen is really well equipped and then some! The beds are very comfortable and sheets very nice.
BUT the location is fabulous. Front row seat to the bay and endless watching the changing view.
I hope to return some day soon.

We had a wonderful time relaxing at The Saltair Cottage after walks on the beach and doing local hikes. The view from the cottage is amazing. It's a lovely place to stop, refresh and relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Saltair Cabin. The windows facing the beach were so amazing. Everything was so clean. It was a fun retreat. Loved the easy access to the beach for long walks.

We absolutely loved our stay at Saltair Cottage. The views were unbeatable, and the house was exactly as pictured. We took great walks on the beach and ate many of our meals at the house. The weather was perfect for keeping a fire going in the fireplace during the evening, and that added to the great experience. The bed was very comfortable, and you can't beat listening to the ocean in the night. This was our first time to the Oregon Coast, but we would love to come back and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We loved this vacation rental! The views are beautiful and the space is decorated wonderfully. There’s abundant bright light throughout the home and we enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace so much!

Saltair Cottage is a gem! Clean,green,comfortable, full of light, well equipped and so tastefully decorated. And the 180` view from the windows is breathtaking. Couldn't wait to rebook it.

We had a wonderful weekend with our 2 young kids. We were able to paddle board out front, went crabbing, kids loved playing on the beach and watching seals. The beds were comfortable and house was stocked with enough cookware. We are looking forward to coming back.

We stayed in May and wrote a glowing review. Our big disappointment was my husband hurting his back the day before our September stay. We never got there.

This trip pelicans diving right in front of us was the highlight. We'd never seen them so close to shore, so continuously. And at this time of year, the sun sets in view, right into the ocean. Divine!

We've stayed at the Salt Air cottage many times and it's consistently clean and well appointed. The management (Sarah) is gracious and courteous. It's a perfect stay for our family of four. I can't stress enough how clean the Salt Air Cottage is - every corner is clean, the sheets and towels are fluffy and warm. We like staying on Netarts Bay because it's less crowded. I feel good about letting my kids play on the beach and it's fun to walk to Seaworthy Coffee in Netarts, or walk 2 miles down the beach to Oceanside. It's a great getaway. We really love sitting at the kitchen table, playing games and watching the ocean. We'll be back again and again. Thanks, Sarah for giving great customer service!

We love this place, watching the world go by, the sand some grassy steps and a few sturdy stones away. It's a Very well-managed, beautiful home with all the amenities we need. And the stairs up to it aren't too much for our old bodies to manage. The bustle of Happy Camp is within view for entertainment purposes, but far enough away to not be a bother. The bay and ocean provide all the other diversions we could ask for, whether to just observe others enjoying it in multiple ways, or by becoming part of it by kayaking and walking.

This is our second time staying at this property, and we are looking forward to making this a regular vacation. The property is spotless. It's perfect for our toddler, we love the grassy backyard and proximity to the beach. Sarah is super responsive to take care of anything that comes up. This property is a true gem.

This home right Netarts Bay is one of the best places I have stayed. It’s comfortable and had everything I needed. A gourmet cook delight!!! It was clean and felt like I walked into a remodeled home The fresh flowers and chocolate were a nice touch. The outdoor set up with fire pit with wood was unexpected.

This was our first time in this rental. We absolutely loved it. Wished we booked more than 3 nights. It was immaculate, comfortable, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. My husband even said Joanna Gaines would be proud. We’re looking forward to returning in September.

Total splurge rental house right on the bay, and close to the ocean. No dogs allowed, so we had leave them home. Super clean. Hope to stay there again soon.

I have stayed at many VRBOs and I am extremely picky both in regards to cleanliness and style, and this VRBO was by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. The view was incredible, especially from the bedroom which looked right out onto the ocean, it was contemporary in style while still maintaining it's coastal themes, the kitchen was well stocked and we felt utterly relaxed throughout our stay. Communication with Sarah was a breeze and we plan on staying there again in the New Year.

Our stay at Saltair was such a nice getaway. Sarah was so responsive to us, and we truly enjoyed the home. In light of COVID, it felt clean and safe! I loved the easy access to the bay/beach and can't recommend this home enough. We love to stay with ShoreThing, can't wait to book our next getaway.

My husband and I were looking for a getaway where we could hear the soul-nourishing sound of the ocean. This home was incredible. It's beautiful and every detail is done with high-end touches to make you feel pampered and at-home. And, the management company couldn't be more welcoming and available for anything you need. They make you feel that your comfort is their only concern.

We loved this little cottage at the beach at Happy Camp in Netarts. The clever remodel was jam packed with everything we needed for a couples weekend. Very tidy and modern. Location was divine, and loved having a little yard.

We love watching all the nature pass by from the deck: especially the pelicans in the summer, and the huge varieties of beach use by the human visitors. There are excellent restaurants nearby, and should any issues arise during our stay, the property managers are excellent in addressing them rapidly.

The manager texted to us to let us know the home had happens we could have checked in earlier than 4 the first day of our stay which we weren’t able to take advantage of, but I did appreciate the notice! Loved our week in Netarts. The house gets lots of great ocean breeze and is well outfitted for a small family. Our two teens loved the upstairs and the wood fireplace was awesome on an unexpectedly cool night. Tons of fun walking the beach and going on nearby hikes.

During this time of crazy madness, we were able to find a place that kinda took the madness away for a while. A clean, neat, on the beach home away from home is just what we needed during this pandemic time. The host were just wonderful working with us on getting the best from our stay. Certainly would recommend this VRBO!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The proximity to the beach is amazing and the bay itself is so peaceful and quiet. Everything was spotless and there was plenty of cookware in the kitchen. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. We also ate at Schooners which I highly recommend. One thing to note is that there is not a door to the bedroom upstairs. It wasn't a problem for us at all, but might be for other groups. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We could see the sunsets from inside, the deck, and yard. Yet the morning sun hit the yard and then deck early enough for us as well. Being constantly entertained by all the varieties of beach activities in front of us added to our enjoyment: a sailboat, stand-up paddlers, kite surfers, clam-diggers, kayakers, joggers, crabbers, cartwheelers..... The kitchen provided appliances I didn't know I needed (a hot water pot!), as well as all the basics. Renting virtually ON the beach with such easy beach access has now permanently spoiled us from wanting to stay anywhere farther away. We already knew that Shore Thing's property manager was fantastic, but when I forgot an entire refrigerator shelf of supplies, and texted her when I realized it a few hours after we'd checked out, I was aMAZed to hear the cleaners had bagged it all for me! The property manager then MET up with me so I could retrieve it! I've never felt in such good hands with a rental. Saying they "go above and beyond" barely suffices. When we had to sell our beach vacation home of 13 years, we thought we'd feel bereft forever. Not any more! The Saltair Cottage is our new adopted beach home, with none of the responsibilities of home ownership!

I gifted myself a solo vacay after meeting a major work milestone, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Two major concerns for me were that, one, I feel safe and, two, that I be able to relax. Saltair Cottage delivered on both counts. While there's not a security system, I was never concerned for my safety, and it was a perfect place to unplug and get away from it all. I didn't realize until I was there just how close the water is, I spent hours just sitting with a book and looking out over the ocean. I also appreciated the luxury feel of the Cottage. Having stayed in a number of vacation properties, it can sometimes be difficult to find a place like this where (for a reasonable price) everything feels top of the line--from the bedding to the dishware to the towels to the TV channel selection. I intentionally didn't venture out a whole lot (plus it was chilly and rainy for the majority of my stay) but I did visit the Tillamook Creamery, the Cape Meares Lighthouse and Cape Lookout--all of which were nice. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the Saltair Cottage! The bed was to die for and the living area was very relaxing with a great view of the tide coming and going. The cottage was spotless and very well taken care of. My only suggestion is a menu basket from local restaurants. Internet access was perfect and the shower was excellent!

We had a great time at a beautiful house on the beach. The view is outstanding, and Sarah and Monica were the best hosts, they were super attentive. We will come back for sure, this place was one of the most beautiful house we have ever rented.

A friend and I recently stayed at Salt Air in Netarts, and I am already considering a return visit next year. What a wonderful place to sit quietly, rest, partake in local activities, and gaze along the bay with your morning tea at the herons, sea lions, and folks crabbing along the shore.
Salt Air is spotlessly clean, bright, delightfully designed, and perfectly supplied. A teapot for the stove would be helpful, and it may be time soon to replace the sofa although it is very comfortable, but apart from that, everything, including the bedding and even the sea-inspired bath supplies will make your stay one where you never want to leave and you feel catered to.
Hats off to Sarah who responded very quickly to questions we had and who dropped everything to run over and help us with the t.v. remote. She was delightful, and she attended to any needs we had professionally, promptly, and happily.

From the moment we walked into the Salt Air Cottage, we could tell this would be a great place to stay and make memories. The house was the cleanest house we've ever rented, and we've stayed in many. The location is perfect for sunsets and even better if you're watching your kids playing on the beach. I did have to make a run to the store for kitchen supplies like foil, napkins and other things like that, but I imagine those items ebb and flow with the guests. We WILL stay here again - we loved everything about it!
